Some journeys begin long before we pack our bags. They begin with an invitation, a door opening, and the excitement of discovering something new.

This November, we’re travelling to India to share our music at two cultural events: the Baul Fakiri Mela in West Bengaland the Mayurbhanj Living Heritage Festival in Odisha. An adventure that will take us far from home, and one we hope to embrace with open ears, a deep desire to play, and all the energy we bring to the stage.

Our music is born from the meeting of Spanish folk traditions and the Latin American music that is part of our roots. Different sounds, rhythms and traditions come together in a project that finds its own identity in this blend. That’s why the opportunity to bring our music to India and share it with local artists fills us with excitement. 🎶

One of the most special moments of this journey will be collaborating with artists connected to the traditions of Mayurbhanj Chhau and Purulia Chhau. We’re approaching this encounter with curiosity and a desire to discover what happens when different musical and cultural paths meet, listen to one another, and begin to speak through music.

There is still so much to discover. And perhaps that’s where part of the magic of this journey lies: in stepping beyond the familiar, allowing ourselves to be surprised, and seeing what can emerge when music brings us together across borders.

We’re heading to India eager to share who we are, listen to what others have to tell us, and live an experience that we’re sure will leave us with new sounds, new learnings, and stories to tell.

India, here we come! ❤️
